They two were in sock with someone else. Daisy Buchanan was in sleep together with Jay Gatsby while Tom was in hunch over with myrtle Wilson. Daisy tried to keep her promise to Jay by saying t hat she would count for him but her love for money, wealth, and status overwhelmed her love for Jay. Tom on the other hand went to great lengths to however keep his working girl around and keep her happy. other similarity between them was the position that they both neglected their child. They both treated their newborn babe as an afterthought in on that point busy life.
